      The results are in! Westview Health Care Center continues to shine across decades of dedicated caregiving.

     For the 16th consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has listed Westview as one of America’s Best Nursing Homes for both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation. Additionally, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has bestowed Westview with a 5-Star rating. Each of these distinctions represent the highest accolades offered through their evaluations.

     U.S. News and World Report places Westview in the top 18% of all Nursing Homes across the nation, and one of the top facilities in the state of Connecticut.

     The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services conferred Westview’s 5-star status by citing Westview’s quality of care, their state and federal inspections, and for having the highest staffing per-patient/per-hour/per-day in the fields of nursing and therapy.

     For over 70 years, Westview Health Care Center has offered dedicated care to their patients and residents. Now, their campus has evolved to include the 75-unit Independent and Assisted Living Facility of Country Living at Westview Commons and the new Westview Child Care Center. With steadfast, state-of-the-art structures and strong regional roots, Westview’s true foundation is their incredible team members, their hard work, and dedication to their patients and residents; caring for generations.

Westview Health Care Center is a 103-bed inpatient skilled nursing facility, which includes a distinct and self-contained 28-bed sub-acute short term rehabilitation unit and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapies including: Sports Medicine, Adolescent/Pediatric, Adult, and Aquatic Outpatient Centers, all dedicated to providing outstanding quality health care services. The Dayville, Connecticut facility is consistently ranked among the top nursing facilities in the nation, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as well as U.S. News and World Report, consecutively for the past years.
