April Nale of Southbridge, MA has been selected as Westview Health Care Center’s Employee of the Month for April 2019. April is a Connecticut and Massachusetts licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and has been employed at the facility since September 2016.
Since 2004, Ms. Nale has been a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist in her hometown of Southbridge, Massachusetts. In 2014 she decided to further pursue and broaden her interests in health and wellness by becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant- an occupation that speaks to her many strengths, mainly motivating and inspiring others in becoming better, more mobile and healthier versions of themselves. She received her associate’s degree in Science from Mount Wachusett Community College in 2016 and earned her employment at Westview shortly after.
Nale remarked, “My goal upon arriving to work everyday is to inspire and encourage others. Making people smile and seeing their comfort and confidence grow as a result of my assistance is what motivates me. It’s an honor knowing that the nominations for this recognition came directly from people whom I respect whole-heartedly: my co-workers. I honestly love my Westview Family!”
When not providing care to others, including her two wonderful children, Ms. Nale can be found exploring her many avenues of interest including: walking, yoga, meditation, fitness and cooking. Her dedication to the overall health of her mind, body and soul is all too apparent to those that spend any amount of time with her in regard to her positive and genuinely peaceful demeanor.
“April could not be more deserving of this award,” stated David T. Panteleakos, Administrator. “Her personality and service to others captures the spirit of compassionate caregiving that our reputation is built upon. We are grateful to have her here at Westview.”
Westview Health Care Center is a 103-bed inpatient skilled nursing facility, which includes a distinct and self-contained 28-bed sub-acute short-term rehabilitation unit and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapies including: Sports Medicine, Adolescent/Pediatric, Adult and Aquatic Outpatient Centers, all dedicated to providing outstanding quality health care services. The facility is located in Dayville, Connecticut and is ranked among the top nursing facilities in the nation according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service; and U.S. News and World Report for the past 12 years.
