Approximately 40 people strong attended the affair, wishing Mrs. Guimont a happy, healthy retirement, and thanked her for her tremendous efforts in the Dietary Department.
Lillian was accompanied by her husband Richard Guimont, her daughter Joyce, son-in-law George and grandson Christopher Aghjayan. Also present by her side was her son Michael, grandson Benjamin and his fiancee Lori Savoie.
Administrator/CEO David T. Panteleakos stated, "Lillian's longevity is a true inspiration for all of us. Her dedication and commitment to Westview has been remarkable and we are so appreciative for her contributions to this organization."
Lillian's tenure at Westview included working in every aspect of the Dietary Department during the early morning 1st shift hours. Bonnie Deojay, Director of Dietary Services remarks, "It has been a pleasure working with Lil. She was an incredibly dependable employee who would go "above and beyond" the call of duty."
In Lillian's retirement she plans to spend time camping and boating in Coventry Rhode Island, enjoy her northeastern CT home with her wonderful family and travel to Florida in the winter. Guimont states, "Westview is big part of my life! It is great place to work and great people to work with. I will visit often because my Westview family is very important to me. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have spent my working days."
