     Ruth Gorham from Foster, Rhode Island was named Westview Health Care Center’s Employee of the Month for July 2017. Ms. Gorham works as a Registered Nurse at the facility and has been employed at Westview since October 2015.

      “I am so blessed that I love what I do for a living and to have found a family at Westview of colleagues and residents is the icing on the cake,” Ms. Gorham stated. “I am so grateful for this recognition and I know that I couldn’t do what I do without the kinship and support of my Westview family.”

      In her spare time, Ms. Gorham can be found gardening, reading or enjoying quality time with her family. Her and her fiancé, Erin Gagnon, are both eagerly awaiting their upcoming wedding this October.

     “Ruth is an extremely kind-hearted and wonderful person,” stated David T. Panteleakos, Administrator. “Her commitment and genuine concern for all those that she encounters on a daily basis encapsulates the true meaning of compassionate caregiving. We are very fortunate to have her here at Westview.”

Westview Health Care Center is a 103-bed skilled nursing inpatient facility, which includes a distinct and self-contained 28-bed subacute short-term rehabilitation unit and an Outpatient Rehabilitation and Aquatic Center, both dedicated to providing quality health care services. Along with garnering a perfect five star overall rating found on Medicare.gov Westview is proud to have received such accolades as US News and World Report America’s Best, Consumer Reports Top 10 Connecticut Nursing Facility rating and Health Grades 5-Star Top Ranking.
