Representative Dauphinais Visits Westview

     Representative Anne Dauphinais for Killingly and Plainfield recently met with residents and staff while on a tour of the facility.

     “This health care center completely changes the stereotypes that surround elderly facilities,” Rep. Dauphinais said. “The level of design and attention to detail here is like nothing I’ve ever seen before.”

     The Representative also met with Westview's administrator to discuss the status of local and regional issues affecting the health care industry and the elderly.

     “We are very pleased that Representative Dauphinais came to our facility to meet with our patients, residents and employees; and tour the campus to better understand what we do and how we impact our community," stated David T. Panteleakos, Westview Administrator. “I was very impressed by her understanding of the health care industry and the fact that she is a licensed nurse made our discussions even more productive. I have great respect for Representative Dauphinais' passion for learning more about the constituents she represents and taking the time to listen to the issues that are important to our elderly citizens.”

Westview Health Care Center is a 103-bed inpatient skilled nursing facility, which includes a distinct and self-contained 28-bed sub-acute short-term rehabilitation unit and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapies including: Sports Medicine, Adolescent/Pediatric, Adult and Aquatic Outpatient Centers, all dedicated to providing outstanding quality health care services. The facility is located in Dayville, Connecticut and is ranked among the top nursing facilities in the nation according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service; and U.S. News and World Report for the past 12 years.
