During Westview Health Care Center's week-long Employee Appreciation event held Monday, July 25th through Friday, July 29th, Westview celebrated employee Pamela Fillmore, Director of Recreation for 30 years of service to the organization.
Each day of this week-long celebration was dedicated to specific departments, where staff would be recognized for Years of Service, Above and Beyond the Call of Duty "WOW" efforts, Perfect Attendance and acknowledgement of the past Employees of The Month. The daily celebrations consisted of raffles, gifts, lunch catered by Jessica Tuesdays of Putnam and a bonus check issued by Administrator David T. Panteleakos.
Ms. Fillmore began employment at Westview in 1981 as the Assistant Director of Recreation and was appointed to the position of Director of Recreation in 1988. Her job responsibilities include developing and implementing daily recreational activities that meet the needs and interests of each patient and resident of Westview, in order to keep their bodies active and provide a good quality of life.
"It is hard to believe that 30 years have gone by already," remarked Pamela Fillmore. "It is a privilege to work in a position that affords me the opportunity to establish lasting relationships with the residents and patients, and provide programs with meaning and purpose."
"Pam represents longevity, which is the very essence of our success here at Westview," stated Administrator David T. Panteleakos. "Her enthusiastic approach to her work brings excitement to the lives of our residents and patients and we are grateful for her dedication."
