     Adam Bouthillier of Dayville, CT earned Westview Health Care Center’s Employee of the Month for October 2017. Mr. Bouthillier recently celebrated his 10 year anniversary as an employee of Westview where he has worked in the facility’s kitchen as a Cook and Dietary Aide. Mr. Bouthillier is also proud of his newlywed status as he and fellow coworker, Jennifer (Andrus) were married on October 7, 2017.

     “I can’t take all the credit for this amazing recognition,” stated Mr. Bouthillier. “I’m really lucky to be able to spend my days surrounded by awesome people. For me, it doesn’t feel like work because it’s always fun. I like seeing people happy and making them smile. It’s just what I do.”

     In his spare time Adam enjoys an eclectic range of activities including playing with his son Lucien, working out, cooking, playing video games and, in all seriousness, searching for Sasquatch - a peculiar pastime that he has been engaged in since childhood.

     “Adam is beloved here at Westview,” stated David T. Panteleakos, Administrator. “His jovial and humorous nature is shadowed only by his continuous commitment and compassionate approach in regard to the well-being of Westview’s residents and patients. This award is but a small token to reward the spirit of caregiving that he models day in and day out.”

Westview Health Care Center is a 103-bed skilled nursing inpatient facility, which includes a distinct and self-contained 28-bed subacute short-term rehabilitation unit and an Outpatient Rehabilitation and Aquatic Center, both dedicated to providing quality health care services. Along with garnering a perfect five star overall rating found on Medicare.gov Westview is proud to have received such accolades as US News and World Report America’s Best, Consumer Reports Top 10 Connecticut Nursing Facility rating and Health Grades 5-Star Top Ranking.
