On Wednesday, December 24th, Westview's Sports Medicine Center was paid a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus for a quick holiday workout session. Mrs. Claus supervised Santa's exercises while going over last minute additions to their global wishlist.
Santa spent most of his visit testing out sports equipment including stationary bikes, elliptical machines and even a virtual sports simulator.
"Ho! Ho! Ho!", stated Santa. "The fine folks here at Westview Health Care Center were able to improve my golf swing mechanics through the use of their golf simulator. I played 18 holes while it snowed outside!"
Mrs. Claus encouraged Santa as he performed exercises to prepare him for the most vigorous night of the year.
"He's no spring chicken", explained Mrs. Claus. "The Sports Medicine department is just what the doctor ordered for my jolly happy soul of a husband."
Santa and Mrs. Claus wrapped up their visit by posing for our camera with Physical Therapist, Alex Williams.
"Merry Christmas!" Santa exclaimed as he climbed upon his sleigh. "And have yourselves a happy and healthy New Year!"
