Kimberely Legault of Charlton, MA was awarded the distinction of Employee of the Month at Westview Health Care Center for March 2021. Employed as an Administrative Assistant, Legault’s bright smile and positive disposition is typically the first thing that one encounters upon entering the facility, but her duties and responsibilities extend far beyond this first point of contact.
Upon graduating from Killingly High School in 2005, Legault received her CNA licensure in October 2006 and worked on the clinical floor of Westview as a CNA for nearly 10 years. In 2016 she pivoted to the role of Administrative Assistant when the opportunity arose to provide the health care facility with a different set of skills. Today, aside from acting as the facility’s house receptionist, Kimberely also provides the Support Services department with a host of secretarial needs including: order purchasing, coordinating and scheduling contractor activity, data entry and state regulatory compliance requirements. It would be an understatement to mention that her days pass quickly.
Despite her many daily duties and tasks, Kimberely maintains a calm and professional composure. When asked to provide a few words regarding her latest work achievement she replied, “I am pleased to have been chosen for Employee of the Month but I am more grateful for the opportunity to work alongside so many wonderful people. It’s not considered “work” when you have great people to share your day with.”
Outside of work Kimberely enjoys spending time with her husband James who shares many of her own personal interests including: health and wellness, relaxing at home watching football and NASCAR, day trips to the beach and spending quality time with their large family.
“Kim is an integral part of the Westview team,” stated David T. Panteleakos, Administrator. “Her organizational skills and multi-departmental knowledge are an asset to our facility’s daily operations and we commend her for dedication and achievement.”
Westview Health Care Center is a 103-bed inpatient skilled nursing facility, which includes a distinct and self-contained 28-bed sub-acute short-term rehabilitation unit and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapies including: Sports Medicine, Adolescent/Pediatric, Adult and Aquatic Outpatient Centers, all dedicated to providing outstanding quality health care services. The facility is located in Dayville, Connecticut and is ranked among the top nursing facilities in the nation according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service; and U.S. News and World Report for the past 13 years.
