      Westview residents continued their crafty Christmas creativity by making even more holiday decorations as a fundraiser for the Therapeutic Recreation Department. This project called for the use of clear, round ornaments that were filled with various combinations of acrylic paint colors and added textures. The residents then enjoyed swirling, shaking, and adding more paint to their self-contained works of art as the kaleidoscopic colors danced together.

     Some ornaments present beautifully marbled textures; some show swirls with pearl-like iridescence; and some display defined streaks of bold colors.

     All of the ornaments are unique in their highly individualized style; all of the ornaments were handled with loving care; and all of the ornaments brightened the smiles of the residents and staff members joyfully working on this project.

Westview Health Care Center is a 103-bed inpatient skilled nursing facility, which includes a distinct and self-contained 28-bed sub-acute short-term rehabilitation unit and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapies including: Sports Medicine, Adolescent/Pediatric, Adult and Aquatic Outpatient Centers, all dedicated to providing outstanding quality health care services.
