Westview residents enjoyed another group painting class today, creating a festive portrait of a snowman—complete with reflective glitter added to the white paint to resemble an icy texture. Westview's Therapeutic Recreation staff (dressed in colorful, cheerful Christmas sweaters) led this group of artists to creative satisfaction once again. The activity generated interest among several other Westview staff members in the area of the Formal Dining Room, and these very impressed onlookers had many compliments for each resident at an easel.
While the subject in today’s painting may appear a bit “frosty,” its smile—and the smiles of everyone participating in this art project—filled the area with an inviting warmth.
