Broadway Live Productions/THOMASDORAN and company are proud to present music, moments and memories in five celebratory philanthropic performances scheduled Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 25, 26 and 27 at 8:00pm and matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28 at 2:00pm at the Bradley Playhouse in Putnam.
This nostalgic review will delight audiences with the big sounds and songs made famous on Broadway, the movies and radio and will take place, all in one weekend, featuring 40 talented male and female artists who once graced the Broadway Live stage. Music will be arranged by renowned composer Walter Gwardyak, founder of the New England Jazz Ensemble and backed by a live, local orchestra.
The project is spearheaded by Executive Producer and Director David T. Panteleakos and Executive Producer James D. Kellaway, owners of Broadway Live Productions/THOMASDORAN and company. Panteleakos created the production company in 2000 to provide an outlet for creative endeavors that would also benefit good causes. Since the inception of the production company Broadway Live has raised over $650,000 to benefit local nonprofit 501 (c)(3) charitable organizations.
“It is our intention to celebrate Broadway Live Productions 15th birthday through this philanthropic endeavor and have called upon the talented professionals of our past to help make this a celebration that our community will truly enjoy and benefit from,” said Panteleakos. James D. Kellaway, Executive Producer adds, “We are pleased to present this outstanding production and especially appreciative of the tremendous support received through our sponsors.”
This high-energy creative effort will benefit two outstanding community organizations:
Theater of Northeastern Connecticut at the Bradley Playhouse (TNECT)
Eastern Connecticut Performing Arts Association (ECPAA)
