Westview Health Care Center proudly announces Jennifer Robitaille of Killingly as their Employee of the Month for July 2020. Jennifer has been employed at the facility since November 2019 where she serves as a 3rd shift Certified Nursing Assistant and recently finished a heroic work streak of 92 days with only 2 days off!
Ms. Robitaille has been working in the healthcare industry for nearly 20 years; a career path that she has earnestly pursued since childhood when, at the age of 12, volunteered at a local nursing home and assisted with their recreation department activities. Nowadays, she is responsible for providing essential care to residents and patients of Westview - a continuation of her admirable childhood aspirations.
“The patients and residents at Westview truly feel like family,” remarked Jennifer. “Each day I set the goal of getting each of my patients to smile. It may sound like a small thing to accomplish, but the significance of that smile really means the world to me.”
When not giving aid to her patients at Westview, Jennifer can usually be found tending to the register at Pomfret Wine & Spirits- a family-owned store in Pomfret, CT alongside her parents, Susan and Mark Windrow and brothers, John and Jim Windrow. As sponsors of multiple Tri-Track Modified Series cars, Jennifer and her family, including her daughter, Hannah, eagerly anticipate each racing season and take special pride in seeing their Pomfret Wine & Spirits logo adorned on their sponsored vehicles.

Panteleakos, Administrator. “Her selfless ability for providing exceptional care amid an overtly stressful time is truly praiseworthy and this award for her performance is highly deserved.”
